Hi Javier Orduña great to have you here on EBW.
Shall we start with a small introduction of your background in DJing?
My passion beging paradoxically after having been the promoter and artifice of the Punk and Hardcore concerts in the Arrebato room for two years in the mid-90s. And this has a lot to do with the first vinyls that arrived in my hands from artists such as Autechre, Aphex Twin, Kraftwerk, Front 242, Joy Divison and Bauhaus. The next step was evident – growing very quickly as a DJ and becoming a resident at clubs like Apotheke, Jockers, Kitsch and Doom or at Minimal parties.
Please describe how and where this current mix was recorded?
It was recorder in a Spacial Party at Playa Club in Coruña, Galicia with my friend Simon Garcia.
So what's the idea/inspiration behind the mix?
All the mixes and Dj set have something behind and all have something in common: Soul. If it's a Techno set it will be Sad or Rage Souls and if it's a House or Deep set it will be more funny and happy souls. In this set, there are a lot of rage souls from the actual bad political situation of all the governments, the wars, etc...but there is a lot of good energy in them. For me it's really important to be able to express myself by playing music!!
What new ideas or plans do you have going forward?
Fisrt of all, I just finished recording my album, and I'm looking to released it on a big label. Im working on a new Samplepack Librarie for the company Loopmaster and Im finishing my last Remixes: one for Francisco Allendes (Cadenza / Desolat) and another one for Alexi Delano (Plus 8).
